Salary: $79,910– $86,499 p.a. plus 9.5% superannuation

The Instrumentation Officer’s role is to provide technical and analytical instrument support for the operation of specific and sophisticated instruments within the soil science group in the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences. Duties will involve project work to streamline systems and develop methods, and operation of a range of laboratory instrumentation and equipment for the analysis of soil, water, air and plant. These may include an isotope ratio mass spectrometer, segmented flow autoanalyser, inductively coupled plasma and trace gas chromatography. The Instrumentation Officer will also assist in the day-to-day operation of the soils laboratory.
