Salary: $187,654 per annum plus 17% superannuation. An appropriate General Faculty Loading will be negotiated with the successful applicant
The University of Melbourne seeks an enthusiastic, motivated academic leader to lead the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the Melbourne Veterinary School. The Melbourne Veterinary School’s Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) is AVMA, RCVS and VSAAC accredited and the school is ranked globally at 15th among veterinary professional schools. In this position you will take a leading role in the administration of the Department and of the school’s teaching hospital, U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital. You will also contribute to strategic planning for the learning and teaching activities of the School and the Faculty, including curriculum development. You will also be an active member of the senior leadership teams of the School and Faculty.
The position will be based at the Werribee campus (a 30 minute drive from Melbourne CBD) of the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences but will be expected to work at the Parkville campus from time to time.
