Salary: $98,775 - $117,290 p.a. (Level B) (pro rata) or $120,993 - $139,510 p.a. (Level C) (pro rata), plus 17% superannuation. Level of appointment is subject to qualifications and experience.
We are seeking to appoint to the role of Deputy Director of Medical Student Education at the Northern Clinical School in the Department of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne. The position is primarily located at the Northern Centre for Health Education and Research (NCHER) located at the Northern Hospital in Epping.
The 0.5FTE part-time role requires the incumbent to have a medical qualification recognisable in Australia and Fellowship in an Australian College (e.g. FRACP, FRACGP, FACCRM etc.). Ideally, the successful candidate would also have experience in clinical teaching, medical education, and curriculum delivery.
The appointee is expected to further the role of the University within Northern Health, and will be responsible for the organisation and implementation of the clinical teaching programme, clinical examinations, pastoral care, and supervisory duties for all Northern Clinical School medical students.
