Salary: $98,775 - $117,290 p.a. plus 17% superannuation
The Lecturer in General Dentistry teaches in the discipline area of clinical general practice dentistry in the 2nd year of the Doctor of Dental Surgery course, other teaching as directed, and research and administration. There will be opportunities for enrolment in higher degree programs, e.g., PhD. You will report to the Head of Restorative Dentistry section within the Melbourne Dental School.
You will be expected to devote a significant proportion of time to the teaching of general practice dentistry in the DDS program and administer coursework commensurate with the level of the position. In addition, you will be expected to undertake research and make significant contributions to the discipline at the national level, through independent original contributions, which expand knowledge or practice in your field and have a significant impact on your field of expertise and contribute to leadership in the discipline.
