The University of Melbourne is conducting an extensive search for candidates of exceptional calibre for the position of Director, Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP), reporting to the Deputy Dean (Faculty) within the Faculty of Business and Economics.

As a critical member of the senior leadership team within the Faculty of Business and Economics, the Director MAP leads a high performing team in advancing the vision and mission of MAP. This includes setting the vision, strategy and key performance indicators of MAP and ensures MAP remains aligned with its vision as it grows through a period of transformational change.
As Director MAP you will possess a deep understanding of the start up journey from ideation and business planning through to operational success. With exposure to both business incubation and business acceleration, you are a passionate entrepreneur with the credentials, networks and credibility needed to engage across the entrepreneurship ecosystem including academia, alumni, industry and the emerging leaders of tomorrow.
Tertiary qualified with a sharp, nimble and creative style, you are a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship for social good and an ambassador for the next generation of Australian business leaders. Your ability to develop strong relationships and meaningful connections, and your passion for incubating and developing organisations with meaningful social impact will be essential to your success in this senior leadership position.
