Salary: $98,775 – $117,290 p.a. plus 9.5% superannuation
We are seeking biostatisticians to join the Biostatistics Unit in the Centre of Epidemiology and Biostatistics (Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne).
These new roles will build clinical research capability in biostatistics within the Melbourne Medical School and affiliated hospital partners as part of the Melbourne Clinical and Translational Sciences (MCATS) platform.
With a primary focus on clinical trials, the successful applicant will provide statistical advice on all aspects of the research journey as a key collaborator. The appointee will also provide advice and guidance on developing grant applications with research teams who are submitting to national peer reviewed funding schemes and deliver the occasional workshop on statistical methods to research staff and students. There will also be scope for methodological research with other biostatisticians within the Biostatistics Unit.
