The Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Melbourne is home to the Victorian College of the Arts and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Long recognised as one of the leading providers of fine arts and music education in Australia, the Faculty has an ambitious plan to grow its global profile. 

The Role: The External Relations team is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Senior Marketing Coordinator for a full-time continuing role. This role is responsible for delivering creative data and insight led initiatives to support the Faculty’s marketing objectives to grow global reputation and brand equity; drive student acquisition and retention; increase advocacy from students and staff and alumni; and increase the awareness of the Faculty’s public value and contribution.  

The Team: The External Relations team is a dynamic and experienced team responsible for growing the reputation of the Faculty and building a program of activities that establish it as a world leading fine arts and music teaching institution, in a tier one research University, in one of the world’s best arts precincts - Melbourne. The marketing part of the team consists of content, digital and recruitment streams. You will report directly to the Strategic Marketing Manager.  

You: You are an experienced marketing professional with extensive technical expertise across a range of traditional and digital platforms. You will enjoy working with academic colleagues and internal teams to deliver creative and data driven marketing campaigns. A high level of analytical capability and experience using data informed insights to drive strategic marketing activity will ensure your success in the role.   

Location: Based in the beautiful Southbank Campus of The University of Melbourne, you will work nestled amongst Melbourne’s major arts and cultural organisations and venues. You will have the convenience of great transport links to the rest of the city with the serenity of the Botanical Gardens close by.
