The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work closely with the Chief Investigators (CIs) of Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project DP 200101378 Integrating climate change adaptation and mitigation across Australia’s Built Environment (Associate Professor Anna Hurlimann, Dr Georgia Warren-Myers, Dr Alan March, Dr Sareh Moosavi and Dr Judy Bush), to achieve the project objectives. The Research Fellow will have responsibility for coordinating daily activities of the project including liaising with key stakeholders, coordinating research activities, analyzing data, and contributing to research publications and engagement activities. The Research Fellow will have the opportunity to collaborate and publish with a range of leading researchers, and to be part of the vibrant University and Faculty research communities.

The ARC Discovery project is a three-year research project that aims to facilitate the integration of climate change adaptation and mitigation across Australia’s built environment sectors: design, urban planning, construction and property. The project expects to generate new knowledge to advance climate change action. An expected outcome is a framework to guide decision making in the built environment. The project will actively engage and communicate with practitioners and policy makers, and will establish a national project reference group for this purpose.
