An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and passionate Hospital Support Team Lead to join the team at U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital, Melbourne Veterinary School.

About the Role
The Hospital Support Team Lead is responsible for leading the Hospital Support Team, overseeing the operations of the team which encompasses coordination of all aspects of clients and referring veterinarians, business and financial process management, administration support, reporting activities, and rostering and scheduling.
The role will lead by example in carrying out duties along with the team and will be responsible for ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively to support the smooth operation of the U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital.
To be successful in this position, you will have completed a Certificate IV and have extensive relevant work experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
The successful applicant will bring strong experience in leading and managing a team of direct reports to achieve goals and deliver high level customer services. Significant experience in financial transaction processes including billing, invoicing and following up on outstanding accounts with strong accuracy and attention to detail is required to successfully meet the objectives for the position.
In addition, the Hospital Support Team Lead will have demonstrated experience in managing a front of house/reception function and have demonstrated understanding of effective and efficient rostering principles and experience in rostering and scheduling in a hospital environment including shift work.
