LAW LIBRARIAN

Melbourne Law School & University Library

Salary: $84,845 - $88,274 p.a.plus employer superannuation contributions of 17%

The Law Librarian is responsible for the strategic planning for the Law Library and day-to-day delivery of library and teaching services to the Law School, including research assistance, reference expertise, information training and client support services. This includes launching the first comprehensive faculty research service in an Australian Law School. The Faculty Research Service will provide high quality research assistance to Melbourne Law School faculty using a combination of trained librarian and law student research assistants. The Law Librarian will develop and maintain strong relationships with the faculty and student body and other divisions of the University in order to fully support the Law School’s teaching, research and knowledge transfer programs and promote the goals of the Melbourne Model.
