Salary: $56,226 - $76,229 p.a. (pro rata if applicable) Research Fellow 1 (Level A) or
$80,318 - $95,375 p.a. (pro rata if applicable) Research Fellow 2 (Level B)
plus 9% superannuation
Part time or fractional appointments may be considered
This position is for a social scientist to conduct research and research management tasks associated with a project investigating 'The Legal, Institutional and Cultural Barriers to Adaptation to Sea-Level Rise in Australia'. The project aims to understand how legal, institutional, and cultural factors impede or facilitate adaptation to sea-level rise in Australia. The empirical work for the project will take place in the Eurobodalla region of NSW, and the Westernport Bay region in Victoria. The applicant would be expected to work in collaboration with the project's five Chief Investigators (including from State and Commonwealth Governments). The primary role of the position is research.
