Melbourne Law School was the first faculty in Australia to teach law, and awarded this country's first law degrees.About the role:The position of AREiA Project Officer will be located within the Melbourne Social Equity Institute (MSEI) at the University of Melbourne. The MSEI is one of the University’s five interdisciplinary research institutes. The vision of the MSEI is to influence government policy, public opinion and social practices through the highest quality scholarship in order to create fairer societies. Its goals are to support and enable interdisciplinary research; create linkages and develop partnerships with external organisations; and collaborate with people with lived experiences and their communities to create positive social change.Reporting to the Executive Officer, the AREiA Project Officer will hold an important role within the development of the AREiA Initiative.
