About the Role   

As a Data Insights & Knowledge Lead, you will lead learning analytics initiatives, conduct comprehensive reporting and analysis, and develop interactive dashboards. Your expertise will create proactive alerts and predictive analyses to inform strategic decision-making, transforming data into actionable insights. 

As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in driving evidence-based decision-making. Your responsibilities include developing systematic reporting with stakeholders, utilising advanced techniques to build proactive alerts, and conducting predictive analysis to anticipate trends and inform strategic decisions. 

Your responsibilities will include:   

  • Lead strategies to gather, analyse, and interpret data on student experiences and performance.  
  • Conduct data analysis and statistical modelling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in student data. 
  • Oversee the collection and management of student data from various sources for comprehensive analysis and insights.  
  • Collaborate with teams to define KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to monitor student success, retention, and engagement, tracking progress toward organisational goals.  

Who we are looking for   

  • Demonstrated proficiency in learning analytics, reporting, and data visualistion techniques  
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and statistical modelling to extract actionable insights from diverse datasets  
  • Experience in implementing proactive alerts and conducting predicative analysis  
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with multidisciplinary teams to define key performance indicators 
  • Excellent communication with a track record to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels  
  • Passionate about data analysis, data modelling and knowledge sharing

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
