About the Role
In this dynamic role, you will accumulate an in-depth knowledge of the Faculty's gifts portfolio, providing expert advice on the implementation and administration of endowed and donated funds. You will lead process improvement activities, collaborate with compliance teams, and ensure the Faculty meets its endowment and financial reporting obligations. Additionally, you will coordinate cross-functional projects within the Faculty, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication between stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and interpretation of policies and legislative requirements related to long-term investment funds, charitable trusts, and expendable gifts.
- Contributing to the development of comprehensive gift implementation plans, including award approval processes and stewardship plans.
- Managing the awarding and administration of Faculty scholarships and prizes, ensuring compliance with relevant statutes and regulations.
Who We Are Looking For
You will possess a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience. You have the ability to understand compliance issues related to legal contracts and exercise judgment in making complex decisions. Your organisational skills and capacity for short- and long-term planning ensure the timely delivery of programmes and services
You will also have:
- A relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience;
- Demonstrated ability to understand the compliance issues relating to the administration of legal contracts
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and make complex decisions with the ability to deliver creative solutions and negotiate outcomes;

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. The Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning is the leading educational and research institution in the Asia-Pacific region addressing the design and realisation of inhabited environments.
