Opportunity
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a distinguished legal scholar committed to excellence and innovation within the equity and trusts discipline, to join the faculty as the inaugural Allan Myers Chair in Equity and Trusts. Reporting to the Dean.

This significant and prestigious role is expected to lead and conduct cutting-edge research that advances the understanding of Equity and Trusts across the world, contributing to the faculty’s reputation for excellence and its commitment to addressing contemporary legal challenges. The appointee will play a key role in building community and collaboration at Melbourne Law School, helping to nurture the next generation of private law scholars.

About You
The successful applicant will be a distinguished legal scholar in the area of Equity and Trusts, with a proven record as a successful educator and researcher, with a substantial publication record.

  • A good first degree in law
  • A doctoral degree in a relevant field
  • Significant expertise in the doctrines and institutions of equity and the law of trusts
