About the Role
As an Education Fellow in Urban Planning, you will contribute to teaching delivery across the urban planning programs, fostering an inclusive and rigorous learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering engaging teaching, improving student outcomes, and contributing to curriculum development, while also engaging in professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to a mix of subject co-coordination, delivery, and tutoring across urban planning programs
- Supervising Bachelor of Design Honors Theses and MUP Minor Theses as appropriate
- Supporting the development and evaluation of curriculum and educational resources as required
Who We Are Looking For
You will have a PhD in the relevant discipline or near completion, or a Master's in Urban Planning with extensive relevant experience in practice and/or teaching. You possess demonstrated teaching experience, ability to deliver materials across various formats and class sizes, and contribute positively to educating and supporting students.
You will also have:
- A PhD in the relevant discipline or near completion, or a Masters in Urban Planning with extensive relevant experience in practice and/or teaching within the disciplines.
- Demonstrated teaching experience and ability to prepare and deliver University teaching and learning materials and activities, face to face (and online where relevant) using a range of teaching methods across various class sizes.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute positively, both individually and as part of a team, to educating, inspiring and supporting students.
- Ability to uphold University expectations, commitment to diversity/inclusion, and policy compliance.
