- Assist in the supervision and teaching of medical students in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at St Vincent's Hospital and affiliated hospitals, demonstrating mastery of academic skills and excellent performance in medical education.
- Contribute to the delivery of Australia's leading medical program by facilitating student learning activities, assessments, and curriculum innovation within a dynamic clinical environment at St Vincent's Hospital and its affiliated healthcare partners.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Medical Student Education, you will assist with the organisation and supervision of the hospital clinical placement program, relevant teaching and assessment programs including written, work-based assessments, miniCEXs, OSCEs, and long cases.
You will be required to complete specific projects at the direction of the Director and work closely with the professional team to execute program requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitate medical student learning activities across all year levels and formats of the MD program.
- Contribute to student assessment.
- Coordinate with clinical staff and academic leads of placement partners to support MD program delivery.
- Participate in assessment development for the MD program.
Who We Are Looking For
You will possess a medical qualification recognised in Victoria, with previous teaching experience within the university/hospital sector.
You have the ability to work under pressure, manage competing demands, and enhance and promote teaching in the clinical environment.
Excellent communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a track record of collaboration with the health sector are essential.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills.
- Basic computing skills, including Microsoft Office suite and email proficiency.
- A postgraduate qualification in Medical Education or demonstrated scholarship in the field is desirable.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
