About the Role
The Regular Giving Associate supports the University’s philanthropic goals by assisting in the delivery of Regular Giving programs, including two annual appeals and initiatives like staff giving and reunion fundraising. Reporting to the Regular Giving Manager, you will engage donors, alumni, staff, and the broader community to grow support for key fundraising priorities, contributing to the success of the Leadership Giving and Engagement Team’s strategic purpose.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Regular Giving Manager in coordinating and delivering University-wide appeals and agreed Regular Giving programs.
- Supporting data segmentation processes, including conducting quality assurance checks for appeals-related data.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment in promoting the University’s priorities and collaborating with Development shared services to deliver fundraising initiatives.
- Managing Regular Giving administrative tasks, including handling the Appeals email inbox, addressing queries, and maintaining accurate records.
Who we are looking for
You will have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines under pressure. You will bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach to teamwork, and the confidence to engage with diverse stakeholders about the University’s strategic initiatives.
You will also have:
- An appropriate tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, appeal based fundraising, or project management, and/or relevant experience in these areas.
- Proven experience in working with and analysing large data sets to achieve targeted outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in professional IT skills, including database management.
- Experience creating copy and materials, managing timelines, and coordinating mass communications for appeals.
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with a broad and diverse range of people.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
