You will contribute to the operations of this prestigious mental health research and education department within the Melbourne Medical School.

This role offers valuable experience coordinating communications, websites, and events in a supportive team environment where you will provide high-quality administrative support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate Websites and Communications: Update websites, develop communications materials, and assist with the Department’s academic seminar programme.
  • Provide General Administrative Support: Assist with onboarding, honorary appointments, visa applications, finance tasks, and asset management.
  • Deliver Secretarial Support: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

  • You have experience in events, communications, and coordinating activities for diverse stakeholders.
  • You possess strong website skills and the ability to learn new technologies like Workday, REDCap, and Campaign Monitor.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships.

  • You have a commitment to continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.
  • You can work independently, take initiative, and ensure objectives are achieved.
