Take the next step in your career as an Integrations Developer at the University of Melbourne. You will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining integrations between Workday and external applications, leveraging your expertise in integration frameworks, coding, and problem-solving skills. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to digital transformation initiatives and drive operational efficiency across the University.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, building, and testing Workday integration codebases using tools like Studio, EIB, and third-party coding
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and conduct working sessions
- Managing the testing of solutions as part of the user acceptance process
- Providing platform subject matter expertise for operational incident resolution
- Participating in Workday release reviews and identifying the impact of new features on existing integrations.
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced integration developer with a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business problems and drive digital transformation.
You may also:
- Possess current certifications in Workday Integration, Integration Core, CCTPP, and Studio
- Have expertise in integration middleware products like Boomi or Talend
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in XSLT, XTT, XML, Java, Web Services, and APIs
- Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and embracing emerging technologies
- Have experience in developing robust and future-proof application integration solutions

Your new team – Enterprise Technology
Enterprise Technology is responsible for all aspects of enterprise & IT foundational technology including both change (project) and run (operational) aspects.
The Enterprise Services domain team, within Enterprise Technology, plans and delivers a diverse range of projects including IT enablement for new buildings on campus and other facilities / smart campus projects; IT infrastructure projects; integration / identity management / security projects; and application / digital projects in the enterprise services domain (finance, HR, procurement, service management, space management and other back-office Enterprise capabilities).
