About the Role
The Design & Studio Coordinator plays a key role in managing design and print projects, workflows, and communications between internal clients, the design team, and external partners / suppliers . Acting as the primary point of contact, the role ensures exceptional service delivery and seamless client management. Additionally, the position oversees project management platforms such as PrintIQ, Monday, and Intelligencebank Asset Manager to optimise operations and drive project efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating design and print project workflows using print management software, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Managing financial processes, including invoicing for third-party design projects, and collaborating with the Financial Business Services team.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key internal clients and third-party partners, acting as an escalation point for production delays or issues.
  • Providing expert advice on design service requirements including brand compliance and maintaining proficiency in platforms such as PrintIQ, Google Sheets, Adobe design software, and MS desktop publishing tools.

Who we are looking for
You will have a proactive mindset, with a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and project outcomes within a large, complex organisation. You will be skilled in coordinating projects, managing multiple stakeholders, and making well-informed decisions with sound judgement. With strong written and verbal communication skills, you will be able to convey information effectively to diverse audiences while upholding high ethical standards and professionalism. You will have the ability to work under instruction and autonomously.  Your commitment to the University’s values and focus on delivering exceptional client service will be key to achieving high-quality outcomes.

You will also have:

  • A relevant degree and substantial experience in marketing and communications, or equivalent expertise in the field.
  • Proficiency in key software platforms, including design tools Adobe suite and MS desktop publishing software.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining project management platforms and e-commerce systems.
  • Specialist knowledge in marketing and communications with a focus in design and print and on delivering effective project outcomes.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
