Your next career opportunity
As a Research Strategy Project Officer in Graduate Research, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the University's ambitious research training goals. You'll have the opportunity to implement key policies, analyse performance data, and organise high-profile events. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll contribute to enhancing the experience of graduate researchers and their supervisors across one of Australia's largest and most diverse graduate research cohorts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implement University Strategies and Policies: Assist in implementing graduate research strategies, liaising with stakeholders and preparing progress reports for key committees.
- Support Governance and Committees: Provide secretariat support to graduate research committees, maintain internal guidelines, and contribute to policy governance.
- Organise Key Events: Plan and execute the annual graduate research conference and other important meetings.
- Contribute to Strategic Reporting: Assist in preparing reports, briefing notes, and presentations for senior leadership on graduate research matters.
- Collaborate Across the University: Work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve objectives and maintain a collaborative team culture.
You will be a great fit if:
You are a highly organised professional with experience in research administration or higher education, possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively in a complex organisational environment.
You may also:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or have equivalent experience.
- Have experience in research, research administration, or higher education.
- Possess strong analytical skills to synthesise data and inform program development.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excel in organisational and planning skills, managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Be able to work with complex information and manage ambiguity effectively.
