As the Events Coordinator at Melbourne Law School, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and executing key events that support the school's strategic goals. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, from academic leaders to external partners, while honing your event management skills in a prestigious academic environment. This role offers you the chance to make a tangible impact on the law school's communication and engagement strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-End Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate, promote, deliver, and evaluate a range of events aligned with strategic objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure events meet diverse audience needs and leverage content across all channels.
- Budget and Timeline Management: Ensure events are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to University and Divisional policies.
- Cross-Functional Support: Contribute to broader communications and marketing activities within the Divisional Grouping team.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated event professional with a degree and relevant experience, possessing strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels while working both independently and collaboratively.
You may also:
- Have experience coordinating high-profile events and managing external contractors.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate strong time management and the ability to prioritise workloads across teams.
- Be comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Have experience working in large, complex organisations.
- Be proficient in project management and finance systems.
