About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented DevOps Software Analyst to join the team, you will have opportunity to improve applications, manage and maintain CI/CD tools, and contribute to the software development lifecycle from inception to deployment using industry-standard frameworks and automation tools.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Practical understanding of Agile Software development and DevOps principles.
- Be a contributor and participant in prioritising and planning of the DevOps team’s backlog of work. Working closely with the DevOps Software Engineer and Product Owner.
- Conduct requirements analysis and write Agile user stories for development.
- Develop, enhance and support software via the common application frameworks (eg Django) and continuous integration/continuous deployment tools.
- Support automated and lean software development processes including quality assurance.

You will also have:
- Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training

- Must demonstrate familiarity with the technologies such as Python (Django/Flask), Java, .Net, React/Angular, JavaScript/jQuery/CSS/HTML, SQL, Gitlab/GitHub/Bamboo, Docker, AWS and Splunk.
- Experience in the use and optimisation of automation, configuration, and application performance and management tools such as Ansible and Rancher.
- Experience and passion for building quality software and owning solutions end to end.
- Experience and understanding of agile software development.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
