You will have the opportunity to take on a pivotal role in coordinating two translational research programs focused on developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs).
As the DEER-MICE Neuropsychology Coordinator, you will drive the day-to-day operations of the DEE Neuropsychological Natural History Study and the Mental Health Intervention for the Developmental & Epileptic Encephalopathies (MICE-DEE) Therapy Program.
You will gain invaluable experience in neuropsychology research, contribute to improving our understanding of DEEs, and support initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of individuals and families affected by these conditions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Coordination: Manage the day-to-day operations of the DEE Neuropsychological Natural History Study and MICE-DEE Therapy Program, overseeing participant recruitment, data collection, and adherence to research protocols.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor neuropsychologists, therapists, and research staff, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with hospitals, clinicians, researchers, and community organisations to facilitate the successful conduct of the studies.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain project-specific databases, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Research Dissemination: Contribute to the preparation of grant applications, ethics submissions, research manuscripts, and presentations for publication or communication.
You may be a great fit if:
- You possess a Master's or PhD degree in clinical neuropsychology, clinical psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or a related field.
- You have demonstrated experience coordinating large research projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex analyses.
- You exhibit highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing demands and meet deadlines.
- You have proven experience in neuropsychological data collection and analysis methods.
- You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- You are self-motivated, with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- You have experience leading and contributing to peer-reviewed publications and research grant applications.
