Your next career opportunity
Join the Offshore Student Recruitment team at the University of Melbourne as a Student Recruitment Operations Officer. You'll play a crucial role in implementing strategies to attract diverse international students, aligning with the University's Advancing Students and Education Strategy. You'll coordinate both on- and off-campus engagements, provide personalised service to prospective students and key influencers, and support the University's global education agent network.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate major events: Support the delivery of on-campus experiences for key influencers, managing logistics, materials, and itineraries.
  • Develop engagement strategies: Contribute to channel engagement plans for international cohorts to boost offer-to-enrolment conversion rates.
  • Represent the University: Participate in online and face-to-face international student recruitment and offer conversion events.
  • Provide exceptional service: Respond to enquiries from prospective students, agents, and influencers, maintaining high customer service standards.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a service-oriented professional with excellent organisational and communication skills, proficient at coordinating events, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering high-quality customer service in an international education context.

You may also:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification or have equivalent experience in a service-oriented organisation.
  • Have experience in event coordination, from planning to reporting, for both in-person and virtual events.
  • Possess strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills to manage events and meet deadlines.
  • Be proficient in using CRMs and Microsoft Office suite.
