About the Role
he role within the Department of Nursing at The University of Melbourne involves coordinating a subject and teaching for the Graduate Certificate in Emergency. Candidates should possess current clinical experience in emergency nursing, along with a background in supporting nurses' learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and deliver emergency nursing subjects and provide input into other subjects as required.
  • Make a significant contribution to the development of online curriculum.
  • Attend and provide updates to the Strategic Reference Group
  • Attend teaching and learning meetings, staff meetings, and staff professional development.

Who We Are Looking For
You will be an ideal candidate if you possess excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build effective relationships with stakeholders. Your demonstrated capacity to negotiate, exercise initiative, and innovate, along with a compassionate and reflective approach to your practice, will ensure successful collaboration and positive professional relationships with staff, collaborators, and students.

You will also have:

  • Master level degree in Nursing or equivalent;
  • The incumbent is required to hold a current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Specialty level qualifications in emergency nursing care nursing.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and subject coordination;

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
