About the Role 
This is a great opportunity for a UX Researcher to support digital transformation by delivering student experience insights. Your role will be pivotal in integrating the voice of students into decision-making. Our team is known for its supportiveness, openness, and collaborative spirit. You'll also work closely with cross-functional teams, including Service designers, UX designers and student services stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Journey Mapping: mapping user journeys or user flows, representing these in journey management software and maintaining the journeys 
  • User Research Planning: understanding stakeholder needs and how these relate to program goals before translating these into robust, feasible research methodologies ,  
  • Qualitative Research: facilitation of one-one-one interviews and workshops to deliver against research objectives  
  • Data Analysis: synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform design decisions 
  • Knowledge Management: cataloguing insights, templates, tools and resources for broader access 

Who we are looking for 
We're seeking an experienced UX Researcher with strong communication skills, capable of articulating project details clearly. Additionally, you're collaborative, curious, optimistic, passionate, and resilient. 

You will also have: 

  • Demonstrated skills in planning, coordinating and delivering qualitative or UX research to meet deadlines 
  • Demonstrated analytic and research skills with the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information to define ddesign problems, opportunities and insights. 
  • Experience delivering qualitative or UX research from brief taking to delivery of insights

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
