Your next career opportunity
As an Administrative Assistant in the Rural Clinical School, you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine program across four rural sites.
You'll have the opportunity to engage directly with students, contribute to their educational journey, and be part of a team that's shaping the future of rural healthcare in Victoria.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide Administrative Support: Monitor shared inboxes, process invoices, and assist with student-related tasks such as placement requests and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate Student Engagement: Welcome students to the Wangaratta campus, answer queries, and support events like orientations and examinations.
- Coordinate Meetings and Communications: Assist with organising meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring timely communication with various stakeholders.
- Support Team Operations: Contribute to data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations across the Rural Clinical School network.

You are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional with strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting students in a dynamic educational environment.
You may also:
- Have completed a diploma in business administration, education, or healthcare, or have equivalent experience.
- Possess well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and SharePoint.
- Have a flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work occasional non-standard hours.
