About the Role
The Curriculum and Communications Officer will play a vital role in supporting the Collaborative Practice Centre’s (CPC) mission to embed collaborative practice in healthcare. This position involves aligning curriculum with educational standards, managing communications to diverse stakeholders, and ensuring smooth daily operations, including marketing, administrative, and event coordination tasks. The role requires strong organisational, communication, and technical skills to support CPC’s initiatives and foster effective stakeholder relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the coordination of curriculum development processes for academic programs, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, accreditation standards, and learning outcomes.
- Assist in the development of course syllabi, learning outcomes, assessment strategies, and instructional materials to support effective teaching and learning.
- Support the operational/administrative management of CPC-related events, including webinars, seminars and other IPE professional development events for academic and clinical staff and students
Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will excel in building and managing professional relationships, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. They will be highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving abilities and a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities, collaborate within a team, and work independently to deliver creative and impactful solutions.
- A tertiary qualification with subsequent work experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training in a similar role in a tertiary environment.
- Experience in coordinating or supporting the successful delivery of programs or projects, including the delivery of activities and events.
- Demonstrated ability to produce, design and edit a wide variety of written and visual material for diverse audiences, including the ability to maintain web and social media resources.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

The Centre builds upon previous work in interprofessional education and practice, with a commitment to building a ‘collaborative practice ready’ curriculum for students across the Faculty MDHS.
