About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing educator to shape the next generation of nurses in a leading academic environment. You will contribute to clinical education, teaching innovation, and professional development while working within a collaborative and supportive team

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver practical and simulated lab-based teaching, support students in developing critical thinking skills, and assess learning outcomes to ensure they meet NMBA standards.
  • Contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of course materials, assessments, and simulated learning activities for the Master of Nursing Science.
  • Maintain clinical expertise, participate in relevant professional organizations, and contribute to scholarly activities, including research and publications in nursing education.
  • Support course administration, student advising, and committee participation while promoting a culture of excellence in nursing education.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking passionate nursing educators with a commitment to clinical excellence, innovative teaching, and inter-professional collaboration. You will thrive in a supportive, values-driven environment and be motivated to shape the future of nursing education.

You will also have:

  • A Master of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current clinical experience as a Registered Nurse working in an area of acute care nursing
  • Demonstrated a record of professional achievement in clinical/simulation-based and/or assessment based teaching
  • A commitment to developing excellence and innovation in simulation-based learning and supporting the future nursing workforce

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
