Your next career opportunity
As a Senior Enrolment Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, time-sensitive enrolment services while ensuring compliance with university and government regulations. You will provide expert advice to students and staff, manage critical enrolment processes, and lead compliance initiatives, particularly for student visa holders. This role offers the opportunity to drive service improvements, collaborate across teams, and make a meaningful impact on the student experience at the University of Melbourne.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Compliance Initiatives: Oversee large-scale enrolment audits and outreach campaigns to ensure compliance with ESOS and HESA legislation.
  • Providing Expert Advice: Offer guidance on complex enrolment issues to students, staff, and external organisations, with a focus on international student compliance.
  • Driving Service Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to workflows and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Delivering Training: Conduct sessions for team members and stakeholders to enhance knowledge of enrolment compliance and procedures.

You may be a great fit if:
You are a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of higher education legislation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing student services and compliance in a university setting.

You may also:

  • Have a degree with relevant experience or extensive experience in technical or administrative fields.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of ESOS and HESA legislation and their impact on student enrolments.
  • Show proficiency in data management and analysis, particularly using Microsoft Excel and large integrated databases.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with experience in various communication settings.
  • Exhibit proven ability to organise and deliver large, time-critical services with precision.

Your new team – Student and Scholarly Services
Student and Scholarly Services provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation.  This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff. Senior Enrolment Advisors are part of the Student Enrolment team within Student Services at Stop1. This team is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality enrolment services to students and stakeholders across the University.
