About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our team as the Global Engagement Coordinator at Melbourne Law School. Working closely with the Associate Dean (International), you'll collaborate closely with faculty and administrative professionals to support the implementation of MLS' international strategy. You'll collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, fostering global partnerships and initiatives that enrich both academic and student experiences. Join us in driving forward innovation and excellence in international higher education, making a tangible impact within a dynamic and supportive environment. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinate establishment and ongoing support of bilateral relations, liaise with partners, analyse data, and organise international delegations. 
  • Support the Associate Dean (International) with the establishment of new partnerships, liaising with partner institutions and shepherding contracts through University processes. 
  • Maintain partnership review processes, draft promotional material, produce reports, and provide governance support. 

Who We Are Looking For
You possess excellent communication skills for crafting reports and presentations, adept problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills for collaboration. You thrive on autonomy and excel in time management, prioritisation, and meeting deadlines.

You will also have:

  • A minimum bachelor level degree with subsequence relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist or broad knowledge in a relevant field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training. 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing activities and events requiring the exercise of consideration independence, initiative and professional judgement. 
  • Well-developed data analysis and report writing skills, with the proven ability to convey information, ideas and concepts clearly and effectively and highly-developed attention to detail. 
  • Experience in contract management is strongly desirable.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
