As an Education Technologist at Melbourne Online, you'll play a pivotal role in reimagining online learning for busy professionals. You'll leverage your expertise to enhance our platforms, integrate cutting-edge technologies, and optimise the student experience. Working with world-leading educators, you'll have the opportunity to create immediate impact and shape the future of digital education on a global scale.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and Develop Digital Solutions: Create custom digital content and learning activities using Canvas LMS and other technologies to meet Melbourne Online's business needs.
- Collaborate on Technical Specifications: Work closely with stakeholders to capture and implement functional requirements for development tasks.
- Ensure Quality and Accessibility: Apply and maintain high standards for quality, accessibility, and user experience across all digital learning content.
- Stay Ahead of Emerging Technologies: Monitor and implement innovative educational technologies to support strategic goals and enhance the learning experience.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a tech-savvy professional with a strong background in web design and learning technologies, passionate about creating engaging online educational experiences and able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
You may also:
- Have expertise in hand-coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with knowledge of JQuery, PHP, and SQL.
- Demonstrate experience in developing custom content for Learning Management Systems, particularly Canvas.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Show excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to a diverse range of people
